We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2024, Irene B. Green of Lugoff, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Willie Green; her parents, Alberta Rufus and Alma Windham; her son Rickey Green; and her siblings, Charlie Burris, Jasper Burris, Mary Brisbon, Rosa Lee Pough, Harvey Windlam, Mary Rufus, Shirley Harris, Beulah Martin and Jake Rufus.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Green, Irene J. Green, Dondel Green, Carolyn Willson, Sarah Green, Mary Francis Brisbon, Stephanie Green and Joseph Green; and her sister Luvenia. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Holiness Church (771 Central School Rd, Rembert, SC 29128).
