He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Benjamin and Francis Byrd Small; his brothers, Robert Small, George Small and John Small; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Small and June Small.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Marie Small; his children, Deborah Kenny (Austin), Jennifer Randolph (John) and Christopher Small; his grandchildren, Jennifer Bosley (Max) and Austin Kenny, III; his brothers, Jackie Small (Diane), Joe Small (Diane) and Charles Small (Kathy); and his friends, Ken Deese, Jim Lane and Rachel Turner. He is also survived by his in-laws in Florida; numerous nieces and nephews.
