He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Wallace, Sr. of Washington and Clarice Lundy of Washington; and his brothers, Charles W., Jr. (late Celestine Washington) of Washington and William "Willie" J. (late Lila Washington) of Washington. He is survived by: his uncle Charles of Washington; and his brother John L. of Washington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
After receiving his certification, George began to work for his brother Charles at the Bridgeport Foundation Company for a couple of years.
