It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George E. Harvey (Lugoff, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on October 25, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Harvey; his parents, Andrew Francis Harvey and Margueritte Pedersen Harvey; his daughters, Georgia Anne Hinson and Carolyn Faye Harvey; his sisters, Elizabeth Miller and Elaine Faucher; and his siblings-in-law, Lee Faucher, John Motley, Pat Harvey and Roy Barefoot.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna H. Moore (Paul); his grandchildren, Ben Hinson (Tracy), Chris Hinson (Tracie), Harrison Moore and Anna Moore; and his siblings, Barbara Motley, Andrew Harvey, Gene Harvey (Sally) and Patricia Barefoot.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Olivet Baptist Church or The Baptist Church of Beaufort.
