With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fred Thomas Singleton of Lugoff, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Singleton and Euna Agnes Kettlewood Singleton; his former wife Frances Maria Galimi Singleton; and his siblings, Jack Singleton and Euna Singleton.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Mae Yopp Singleton; his sons, Joe Wilson of Elgin and Michael Wilson (Rhoda) of Spartanburg; his stepson Roger Race, Jr. of Elgin; his siblings, Harry Singleton, Jeffrey Singleton and Bonnie Singleton McKee; and his granddaughters, Jessica Wilson and McKenzie Benavidez. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park (315 Greenwich Rd, Savannah, GA 31404).
