As we bid Evelyn Gaskins farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Evelyn Gaskins is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Fred and Lillie White Gaskins. She is survived by: her son William Reynolds, Jr. of Columbia; and her siblings, Ron Gaskins (Diane) of Murrells Inlet, S. C. and Anita Linder (Risley "Rip").
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at the Quaker Cemetery (713 Meeting St, Camden, SC 29020).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Camden.
