He was predeceased by: his parents, David Jeffers and Lillian Alma Moak Jeffers. He is survived by: his wife Anita Suzette Riley Jeffers; his children, Andrea D. Jeffers (Joey), Tara J. Fortner (Ronald) and Carri M. Jeffers (Danny); his siblings, Tommy Jeffers (Christine), Elaine Perry, Debra Melton and Wayne Nelson (Vera); his grandchildren, Jeremy Douglas (Emily), Wesley Crane (Hailey), Reece Fortner (Alicia), Emily Pierson (Triston), Caleb Fortner (Max), Laiken Fortner (Ian), Alex Breckenridge (Lane), Staci Ryan (Sean), Tripp Minich and Lilli Guinn; and his mother-in-law Billie Faye Riley. He is also survived by 7 great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church (1875 Antioch Rd, Camden, SC 29020). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (1875 Antioch Rd, Camden, SC 29020).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Foundation in honor of Mr. Jeffers.
