He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Vernon and Martha Loraine Jackson Atkinson; and his brother Lavon Atkinson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anderson Atkinson; his daughters, Melissa Wilson (Tick) of Lugoff, Crystal Breedlove (Walt) of Lugoff and Amanda Raper (Shea) of Lugoff; and his sisters, Kathy Guilds (Johnny) of Sumter and Sharon Stephens (Robbie) of Gadsden, Ala.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.
