He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ellis and Ruth Forrester Ellis; and his former wife Annette Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Alice C. Ellis; his children, Jimmy Ellis of Camden, Mitchell Ellis of Lugoff and Kimberly Ellis of Lugoff; his stepson David Edwards of Lugoff; and his siblings, Earlena Beden (Larry), Kenny "Ken" Ellis (Mary), Elaine Bridenstine (Les), Linda Blankenship (Terry) and David Ellis. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
