He is survived by: his wife Lorna Jean Stanley Maples; his children, Darryl B. Maples, Jr. (Donna) of Blythewood and Barbara Medlock (Randy) of Lugoff; and his siblings, Franklin D. Maples, Sr. and Elizabeth McCarty (Byron).
