She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Ranz DeBruhl, Sr. and Helen Maxine Bailey DeBruhl; and her daughter Wendy Carol Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Willie Thompson; her children, Ami Thompson Norris, Rebecca Thompson Watts (Greg), Samuel Loren Thompson, Sarah Isabel Thompson and Savannah Leigh Thompson; her brother Arnold Ranz DeBruhl, Jr.; and her grandchildren, Keith Wayne Norris, Courtney Ann Watts and William Michael Watts.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
