He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Clyde Plott and Ethel Davies Plott; his children, Jacob Lee Plott and Tammy Plott; his grandson James C. Galentine; his great grandchild Christian Skyler Lee; and his siblings, Clyde Plott, Blaine Plott, Larry Plott, William Plott and Carol Kidd.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ruth Patterson Plott; his children, Candy Ann Plott of Irvington, KY, Lynda Lou Meadows (Jim) of Montgomery, TX, John Charles Plott (Jackee) of Galion, OH, Melissa Leigh Alexander (David) of Morganton, N. C., Amanda Marie Peebles (Willie) of Camden, S. C., Joseph Clayton Plott (Jada) of Wilkesboro, N. C., Rachel Nancy Fletcher (D'Angelo) of Suffolk, VA and Cody Austin Plott; and his brother Kenneth Plott (Teresa). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
