It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Brewer Horton of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Horton and Geneva Cobb Horton; his son Charles "Doug" Brewer Horton, Jr. (Linda) of Cassatt; and his sisters, Norma Buff and Betty Kompanik.
He is survived by: his wife Anita Stone Horton; his sister Sally Redders (Sonny) of Monks Corner; his grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Brewer Horton III (Lindsey) of Camden and Heather Moseley (Jeremy) of Chapin; and his great grandchildren, Charles "Charlie" Brewer Horton IV of Camden, Savannah Paige Horton of Camden, Carter Reese Moseley of Chapin and Rhett Baxter Moseley of Chapin.
