She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Stanley Hopkins; her parents, James Belton and Mildred Barnes Watkins; and her son LaBruce Hopkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Baker (Bobby) of Ridgeway, Deborah "Debbie" Messer of Lugoff and Melinda Boggs of Lugoff; her siblings, Trudy Watkins of Camden and Carl "Buddy" Watkins (Jayne) of Cassatt; her grandchildren, Robert Baker (Lauren), Sarah Beth Locklear (Dylan), Hannah Boggs, Ashli Messer and Amber "Nikki" Boggs; and her great grandchild R. J. Baker. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and grand-dogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County.
