It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Jean Jackson of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wheeler Hall and Ella Mae Senn; her husband James F. Jackson; her sons, James R. Seawell, Glen F. Jackson and Thomas D. Jackson; and her grandson Michael L. Keaton.

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn D. Keaton (Yale); her granddaughter Angela D. Keaton; her great grandchildren, Austin Taggett and Kira Keaton; and her sister Catherine Brazell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
