For Brittany is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her parents, Bambi Dawn Hicks Surface of Blythewood and Robert Dee Surface; her sister Riley Surface of Brooklyn, N. Y.; and her grandmothers, Linda Yenshaw of Conover, N. C. and Virginia Bates of Blythewood.
