She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Leslie and Margaret Geneva Williams Nye; her husband Larry Osment; and her siblings, Margaret Fayne Justice, Phyllis Leona Kimbler, Marie Marquitta Schultz, Toni Melissa Dantzler and Herbert O'Neal Nye.
She is survived by: her close friend Andrew Jackson Bateman; her daughters, Kandie Comstock (Stephen), JoAnn Jackson (Ryan) and Ashley Osment (Jamie); her siblings, Dana Nye Alderman (Michael), Herbert Leslie Nye Jr. and Paul Nye; her grandchildren, Holly, Faith, Jason, Brianna, Jase, Grayce, Brayden, Laykenn, Jaida and Haley; her great grandchildren, Willow, Owen, Brynlee and Hensleigh; and her pet Patches. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
