With solemn reverence, we commemorate Bobby Ray Hollis Sr. of Lugoff, South Carolina, born in Winnsboro, South Carolina, whose life came to an end on January 1, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, Callie Porter Hollis and Hiram Franklin Hollis; and his siblings, Paul Franklin Hollis (Sonny), Leila Scriber and Barbara Hollis Hasty.
He is survived by: his significant other Daisy; his children, Bobby Ray Hollis, Jr. (Cassandra), Virginia Hollis Boney (Steve) and Angela Hollis Finch; his grandchildren, Bobby Ray Hollis III (Blair), Travis Hollis (Emily), Charlotte Boney Norville, Charner Boney (Kristin), Ian Finch and Brett Finch; his great grandchildren, Ainsley, Liam, Paisley Hollis, Lizzie, Monroe Hollis, Benjamin and Nathan Boney; and his sister Joan Gay-Robinson (Willard). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Bottom Pond (1530 Buck Hill Rd, Ridgeway, SC 29130).
