He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Lee and Daisy Boatwright Hough; and his siblings, Claudia Mae Smith, Henrietta White and Walter Hough.
He is survived by: his children, Andre Davis (Dancy) of Paterson, N. J., Gerard Beamon (Nancy) of Paterson, N. J., Shlicia Davis of Paterson, N. J., Regina Hough Harley (Mario) of Ulmer, S. C., Nikki Hough of Paterson, N. J., Chiquita Lee (Otis) of Allendale, S. C. and Tasha Hough of Patterson, N. J.; and his siblings, Elease Platts of Columbia, Mabel Harper of Warrenton, N. C., Annie Bell Baskin of Bethune and Alex Hough, Jr. (Sarah) of Bethune. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and loving great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Powers Funeral Home (832 Ridgeway Rd, Lugoff, SC 29078). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church (3788 Tom Horton Rd, Kershaw, SC 29067).
