It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Elwell Poston of Loris, South Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arris Elwell and Jolie Audrey Poston (Ard); and his siblings, Pete Poston, Eurna Jean Owens, Judy Harter, Patricia Ann Carringer and Emily Faye Westbury.

He is survived by: his wife Velda I. Poston (Morgan); his son Thomas A. E. Poston (Julie); and his stepson Devin Price.
