She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmy Hammond; her parents, Richard H. Floyd, Sr. and Augusta Johnson Floyd; her siblings, Retha Floyd Goff and R. H. Floyd, Jr. (Barbara Ann); and her brothers-in-law, Franklin Hammond (Eloise), Elery Hammond (Francis), Houston Hamond, Aaron Hammond (Janie), Martin Hammond, Joseph Hammond (Betty) and Maxie King.

She is survived by: her daughters, Audrey Hammond Blair of Loris and Stephanie Hammond Tetterton (Hamilton) of Camden, SC; her grandchildren, Sloan Blair Deans (Hackney) of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Summer Leanne Blair of Charleston; her close friends, Ethel Hammond of Pleasant View, Bobbie Faye King of Georgetown and Pat Hammond; and her sisters-in-law, Frankie Jewel Goins (Horace), Peggy Jean Johnson (Lloyd), Darcus Ann Bullard (Honree) and Katheryn Mayers (John C.). She is also survived by her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her sisters-in-law.
