He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Lucian Cox and Beatrice Louise Strickland Cox. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ann Cox; his sons, Dale Cox (Tammy) and Neal Cox (Sabrina); his grandchildren, Brooke Cox, Alexis Cox, Tanner Cox and Lainey Cox; his brother Billy Ray Cox (Peggy Jean); his nephews, Brandon Cox and Jason Cox; his great-nephew Levi Cox; and his great-niece Audrey Cox.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olyphic Baptist Church (19062 7 Creeks Hwy, Tabor City, NC 28463). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
