She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter C. Mills and Minnie Widderfield Mills; her husband Loy Parker Yates; and her siblings, Carl Mills, Deval Mills, Walter Mills, Sam Mills, Noble Mills, Elsie Fowlkes and Eunice Adkins.

She is survived by : her children, Keith P. Yates (Jerri) of Loris and Cathy Dianne Miller (Gene) of Masseys Mill. She is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
