It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James New Craigie (Loris, South Carolina), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 22, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Oswald Craigie and Helen New Craigie; his wife Shirley Ann O'Dell Craigie; and his brother John Craigie. He is survived by : his children, Karen Rich (Greg), Janel Dagon (Russell) and Dr. James E. Craigie (Diane); his grandchildren, Will Rich, Abby Rich (Patrick), Connor Craigie, Rusty Dagon, Riley Dagon and Caroline Craigie; and his sister Mary Ann Evans.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Loris First Presbyterian Church (5435 Main St, Loris, SC 29569).

The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Loris First Presbyterian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 425, Loris, SC 29569, or to the charity of one's choice.
