It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elnita Gerald Chestnut of Loris, South Carolina, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucian Cornelius Gerald and Blanton Annabelle Moore Gerald; her husband Albert Elwood Chestnut; and her siblings, Cleeland Talbert Gerald, Barsie Talmage Gerald, John O'Neil Gerald, Elton Eugene Gerald, Howard Milton Gerald, Chellie Elizabeth Gerald Todd, Wilma Ladena Gerald Booth and Christine Daphine Gerald Page.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Linwood Chestnut (Penny Hardee Chestnut) of Longs and Angela Kay Chestnut of Punta Gorda; her grandchildren, Kristen Grace Chestnut and Kelly Faith Chestnut of Longs; and her brothers, Eldred Earl Gerald (Susan) of Little River and Larry Dale Gerald (Loretta) of Loris.
