David Earl Collier Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2021, at the age of 59, David Earl Collier of Loris, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father David W. Collier; his sister Sarah Jane "Sissy" Coulter; his father-in-law Johnny Johnson; his stepfather C. B. Harris; and his grandchildren, Alixes Hursey and Austin Hursey.

He is survived by: his mother Nina Harris; his wife Laura Collier; his children, John David Collier and Angela Maria Hursey (Alix); his mother-in-law Vicky Purkey; his siblings, Troy Gause (Gloria Buffkin) and Faye Hancock; his grandchildren, Brandon "Boogie" Stalvey, Ashton Stalvey and Emmy Herring; his stepgrandsons, Matthew Stewart, Damien Cribb, Elijah Hursey and Luke Hursey; his sisters, Barbara Ann Hudson (Hugie) and Debra Moore; his brothers-in-law, Larry Johnson, Wendell Brown and Billy Johnson (Angel); and his adoptive daughter Alexandra "Lexi" Quillen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
