He was predeceased by: his parents, JD Norris and Greeba Tyler Norris; and his sister Charlotte Milligan. He is survived by: his wife Deletha Norris; his children, Sandy Carland (Jeff) and Coy Lee Norris Jr. (Samantha); his grandson Zander Carland; his sisters, Bonnie Long (Buck) and Cindy Young (Mike); and his stepgrandchildren, Shannon Todd (Anson) and Zack Strickland (Hailey). He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hardwick Funeral Home (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (2102 Pleasant Grove Rd, Loris, SC 29569).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Veterans Memorial Park of America, Inc., P.O. Box 2046, Whiteville, NC 28472.
