He was predeceased by : his parents, David Santiago Palomares and Nemencia Pangilinan Palomares; his siblings, Nicanor Palomares, Nathaniel Palomares and Salvacion Palomares Capuli; and his great grandchildren, Matthew Palomares and Noah Palomares.

He is survived by : his friend Dr. Elba Bautista; his wife Dr. Elba Palomares; his children, Dr. Melanie R. Palomares, David Palomares (Amy) and Jennifer P. Higgins (Terry); his siblings, Manuel Palomares, Daniel Palomares and Naomi Capistrano; his grandchildren, Victoria Palomares Martin (Justin), Brian Palomares (Emily Grace), William Palomares, Eric Higgins and Ryan Higgins; and his great grandchildren, Landyn Martin and Bronson Martin. He is also survived by his love.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, June 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Loris Methodist Church, 3507 Broad St., Loris, SC 29569.
