He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Thompson and Norley Thompson of Wampee; his sisters, Freida and Debbie; and his wife Ellen Murrow.

He is survived by: his sons, Ryan and Jason; and his grandchildren, Hadley, Declan and Ellis.
