He was predeceased by: his parents, Cassius Elbert Rathbun and Colleen Elizabeth Green Rathbun; and his sister Ruth Luela R. Silvester. He is survived by: his daughters, Nicole Dickinson (Paul) and Melissa J. Rathbun; his grandchildren, Bradly Rathbun, Jack Dickinson and Carter Dickinson; his great grandchild J. B. Rathbun; and his siblings, Pamela Ann Cato, John E. Rathbun (Lilla) and William G. H. Rathbun (Magdalena).
