He was predeceased by: his parents, Barzell Kelly and Elwillie Kelly; and his siblings, Barzell Kelly Jr., Ernest Kelly, Kate Lou Gregory and Annie Mae Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Marth Faye Kelly; his children, Tonya Buck of Longs, SC, Robin Kelly of Longs, SC and Robert Jr. Kelly of Longs, SC; his siblings, Josephine Degree (Robert), Roosvelt Kelly (Lolamae) and Rachel Hutkey; and his close friends, Patrick Wilkinson, Clara Vereen and Gin Williams. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren.
