He is survived by: his wife Melinda Mae Hembree Matheson; his children, Kenny Matheson (Crystal) of West Union and Julie Smith (Phillip) of Seneca; his sisters, Rucia Adams (Randy) of Toccoa, GA, Wanda Moore (Eddie) of Westminster and Linda Rholetter (Roger) of Westminster; and his grandchildren, Sophie Matheson, Averie Matheson, Gage Matheson, Braelyn Smith and Colton Simpson.
