She is survived by: her husband Alex Peeples Carter, Jr.; her children, Buddy Carter (Laura) of Islandton and Amy Polk (Brian) of Lodge; her grandchild Shelby Stanley; her siblings-in-law, Larry Carter (Barbara), Deborah Carter and Lindy Starliper; and her nieces and nephews, Beth Hogan (Matt), Kathy Sue Burch (Bill), Nancy Murray, Phil Carter (Jennifer), Madison Carter and Brian Carter (Danielle).
