He was predeceased by: his parents, William Perry Ulmer and Effie Clem Brabham Ulmer; and his siblings, W. P. Ulmer, Jr., Pearl Sauls and Grace Patrick.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Key Ulmer of Lodge; and his children, Corey Wesley Ulmer, Sr. (Eileen) of Lodge, John William Ulmer (Eve) of Ehrhardt, Richard Allen Ulmer (Bobbie) of Ehrhardt, Dennis Randall Ulmer, Sr. (Janet) of Lodge and Russell Ryan Ulmer, Sr. (Paula) of Irmo. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice.
