He was predeceased by: his parents, Ewell Clinton Parnell, Sr. and Ottie Fralix Parnell; and his brother Ewell Parnell, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Torrey Parnell (Angel) of Lodge, Russell Parnell of Lodge, Lowell Parnell (Jenny) of Hampton, Denna Parnell of Cottageville, Lynn Freeman of Hampton and Amanda Bishop (Scotty) of Cottageville; and his sister Madge Shaffer of Orville. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
