He is survived by: his wife Kathy Sue Ferguson Parnell; his daughter Karen Jones; his sisters, Brenda Gibson and Janet Miller; his nieces and nephews, Preston Hiers, III (Leslie), Dean Risher, III, Matthew Hiers, Perry Hiers, Crystal Risher and Ashley Higgins; and his siblings-in-law, Rose Hiers, Lynn Downey, Barbara Callahan, Charles Ferguson, Sr. and David Kinard.
