He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Tollison and Bessie Nelson Tollison; his son Larry Joe Tollison, Jr.; and his siblings, Carroll Tollison, Gerald Tollison, Jeanette Martin and Jean Hewitt.

He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Eppley, Tami O'Brien (Scott), Stephanie Kern and Tina Bass (Steve); and his siblings, Jim Tollison, Charles Tollison, Keith Tollison and Shirley Martin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
