He is survived by: his parents, Richard Lee Melton and Margaret Southerland Waters; his sons, Tracy Melton (Megan) of Chester and Christian Melton of Union; and his siblings, Richard D. Melton of Chester and Christy Latham (Matthew) of Union. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
