He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Wright and Virginia P. Gale. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dean Wright; his daughters, Bonny Thomas and Joy Rudd; and his grandchildren, Jody O'Neill, Cherish Thomas, Dane Rudd, Bailey Rudd, Miniature Schnauzer and Charlee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bold & Beautiful Wigs for Cancer, 1561 Hwy 17 N., Little River, SC 29566.
