He is survived by: his wife Anne Hook Axford; his children, Kai Axford (Christy), Kirsten Cox and Chad Axford (Karen); his stepson Michael Pifer; and his grandchildren, Brayden, Karis, Tommy, Nick, Gretchen, Berklee and Kelsee.
