He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Boardwine and Maze Ferrell Boardwine; and his brothers, Arch "Bert" Boardwine and Clarence "Bo" Boardwine. He is survived by: his children, Ronald B. Boardwine, Jr., Kimberly Havens and Crystal Grant; his stepdaughters, Ashlie Mishoe, Jessica Nester and Mechel Carter; his siblings, Samuel Boardwine (Peggy), Dennie Boardwine, Linda Wyatt (Roger) and Della Guynn (David); and also, Tracy and Kelly St. Clair. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
