She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Long and Irene Long; her husband Lewis Austin Payne; her daughter Valerie Ann Trivett; her brother Robert Crosby Long; her son-in-law Calvin Shepherd; her children, Jean Marie Shepherd and Michael Lewis Gabriel; her daughter-in-law Eleni Gabriel; her stepgrandchildren, Maritsa and Manny; her son-in-law Steve Trivett; her sister-in-law Nancy Long; her nieces, Tammy Long-Foster and Bonnie Geistel; and her nephew Jerry Long. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations to Saint Jude's in Lois's name are greatly appreciated.
