She is survived by: her children, Mike Hales (Tippi) of Clayton, NC and Cindy Joyner (Mike) of Franklinton, NC; her sister Shirley Eason (Steve) of Raleigh, NC; and her grandchildren, Summer Pilkington (Mike), Alan-Michael Hales and Zachary Joyner.
