With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence Knox Profitt in Little River, South Carolina, born in Slade, Kentucky, who passed away on February 10, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. Profitt and Elizabeth Brewer Profitt; and his sibling Willie E. Profitt. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sue McCall Profitt; his children, Ron Lee Profitt and Kandace Renee "Kandi" Bensonhaver (Toren); and his siblings, Irene Profitt Hatton, Shirley Profitt Young, Mila P. Adams, Eulis H. Profitt, Pauline "Polly" P. Lojinger, Charles V. Profitt and Illa P. Whisman. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that memorials be made to MSA Hospice, 4685 Hwy 17 South Bypass, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 in Lawrence's name.
