He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Susan Helms Peninger and Johnny Peninger; his children, Robert Briar Peninger of Monroe, NC, Mikala Robinson of Monroe, NC and Tori King of Ranier; and his siblings, Keith Peninger (Sandy) of Waxhaw, NC and Carol Thompson (David) of Mint Hill, NC. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
