He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Davis, Sr. and Susan Elizabeth Harley Davis. He is survived by: his daughter Kimberly Alcott (Larry) of Charlotte; his sisters, Charlotte Ann Cummins (Bobby), Brenda Sue Lauria (Mark), Penny Lea Davis and Wilma Alene Garraway; and his close friend Mary Easterling. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
