He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Phalen and Lorna Phalen (Leonard) of Rossie, NY.; his brother David Phalen; and his parents-in-law, David Knewasser, Delores Phalen, Barb Phalen, Eileen Phalen, Frances Phalen, Sheila Short, Betsey O'Neill and Phil Corcoran.

He is survived by: his son Linus; his wife Jean Phalen (Corcoran); his children, Patricia Lucey (William), Paul Phalen (Diane), Daniel Phalen (Karen) and Colleen Phalen (Martin Hahn); his grandchildren, William Lucey, Aaron McColough (Angelena), Jacob Phalen, Mark McColough, Addison Phalen (Emily), Makenzine Phalen, Kassidy Phalen, Justus Phalen, Abigail Phalen, Samuel Johnson and Alexander Phalen; his great grandchildren, Ryan McColough, Rhea McColough, Thomas Gay and Hugh Hacker; his siblings, Lois Nevils, Kathryn Knewasser, Michael Phalen and Thomas Phalen; and his parents-in-law, Jane Luppino (John), Kathy Mabbett (Dick) and Jay O'Neill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
