He was predeceased by: his father James Daniel. He is survived by: his mother Lenoria Griffin Helms; his wife Eileen Helms; his children, Stuart Helms (Jessica), James D. Helms (Nicole) and Valerie Helms; his siblings, Danny, Tony Helms, Karen Atkins, Sherry Musselwhite and Teresa Helms; and his grandchildren, Stuart James Helms, AnnMarie Helms, Robert Watson, Angel Watson and Claire Helms.
