She was predeceased by: her parents, John Daniel Allen and Florence Benson Allen; her husband Charles Edwin Holmes; her son Mac Arthur Holmes; and her siblings, John W. Allen, Mary Lou Jones and Pauline Allen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara "JoJo" Holmes Long (Danny) and Kay F. Holmes, MD; her grandchildren, Christopher D. Long (Kelly Moore), Leslie Anette Long, Harrison Jones (Kathleen), Andrew Jones, Mitchell Holmes (Diana), Mallory Holt (Bradley) and Mollie Holmes (Matt); her great grandchildren, Matthew Holmes, Jeremy Holmes, Kara Jones and Emma Jones; and her sister-in-law Louvenia Holmes (Billy). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Buck Creek Baptist Church (11483 SC-905, Longs, SC 29568). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
