He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cecil E. Prater and Rosa Prater; his wife MaryAnne Herren Prater; his children, Barbara Prater Dove (Dana), David Prater and Rob Prater (Alyssa); his grandchildren, Nicole Poe, Alex Poe, Kevin Poe, Luke Poe, Anders Prater and Killeen Prater; and his great grandchildren, Riley Randall and Chelsea Ellis. He was also cherished by his sons, grandsons, and friends.
Although he suffered with Louie Body Dementia and Parkinson's disease, Harold and his family held strong to their Christian beliefs.
